60 Minute Virtual Consultation

There are a wide variety of potentials with an on-site consultation. Most people ask, "What should I expect?"
Often, in person consultations are relationship-building and give me the opportunity to put eyes on your site, study it, and give real world answers to your specifics. If you choose one of the design packages, then there are many options that could be included, such as a final design map which place and labels all elements respectively, a tree map with legend to identify tree variety and placement, a water flow map, and a process of how to move forward when installing your projects.
We will customize deliverables to fit your needs.
Local Half Day Consultation
LOCATION: Northeast Texas Area
INCLUDES:
- 2-4 hours on site visit
- Review your plans, ideas, and/or work
- Professional recommendations and/or observations per customers request
- 3 follow up video or phone calls for questions to be used within 1 year (calls not to exceed 2 hours)
COST: $500 plus fuel

LOCATION: Northeast Texas Area
INCLUDES:
- 4-8 hours on site visit

Meet Your Permaculturist: Nicholas Burtner
Nicholas started his career in permaculture in 2012. He was certified by Bill Mollison (co-originator of permaculture), interned with Geoff Lawton (reknown global permaculturist), was a live on-site student with Mike Reynolds (originator of natural and recycled construction method called earthships), and has travelled to many countries for learning, teaching, and implementing permaculture projects. Nicholas is also the Lead Instructor and Founding Member of the School of Permaculture, where he has certified hundreds of students in permaculture design. Nicholas' approach to consultation is laid back yet thorough. You can get to know him and his personality more in depth on his YouTube channel. He is driven by systems design, where things make sense and respect the work of the Creator. He also aims to reduce - and if possible, prevent - any small or large mistakes that would cost you additional money, time, and energy. Once you select your consultation and/or design option above you will receive an email on if and how to move forward. (Nicholas cannot accept all consultation requests due to time and geographic restraints.)
